News 2 - The Committee on Economic Policy recommends that the Parliament adopts as a Basis the Bill on Amendments to the Law "On Operations with Customer's Feedstock in Foreign Economic Relations" (re a Ban on Import of several Types of Customer's Feedstock to the Customs Territory of Ukraine, and Peculiarities of its Processing) - Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine

The Committee on Economic Policy recommends that the Parliament adopts as a Basis the Bill on Amendments to the Law "On Operations with Customer's Feedstock in Foreign Economic Relations" (re a Ban on Import of several Types of Customer's Feedstock to the Customs Territory of Ukraine, and Peculiarities of its Processing)

The Bill (Reg. No.1266) imposes a ban on import of customer´s feedstock of Group 1 ("Animals") and Group 2 ("Meat and edible by-products") due to the Ukrainian Classification of Commodities for Foreign Economic Activity, to the customs territory of Ukraine. The Bill also prohibits operations related to its processing in Ukraine.

The Committee members believe that implementation of the Bill will create favourable conditions for enhancement of cattle breeding in Ukraine and increase of citizens´ purchasing capacity.
